Niall's art featuring in Mason Hayes & Curran Contemporary Art Show

For the second year running, I am thrilled to be part of the Mason Hayes Curran Christmas Exhibition, which opens in their impressive & modern office on Barrow Street, close to Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, on Wednesday 2nd December.

I've just had a sneak peek of the lay out of the show and I have to say it looks fabulous ...!!

This year there are 8 artists featured in the exhibition, including:

Leah Beggs

Leah is a graduate of Dunlaoghaire College of Art and Design currently living and working in Connemara. She paints in reaction to visual and atmospheric elements around her and is inspired by the Connemara countryside.

Ciara O'Brien
Ciara has just graduated from Fine Print in the NCAD and is currently working with the GUM Collective in the RHA and Black Church Print Studios residencies. She focuses on monochromatic line work in creating flow, tension and release while drawing on her fascination with aerial photography and the movement of the human body.

Shane Berkery

Shane is a half Irish, half Japanese painter based in Dublin. Shane's objective in painting is to create an intense sense of presence in both the depicted figure within the painting, and the painting within the space it is displayed.

Aimee Gallagher

Aimee is a Dublin-based visual artist and printmaker who has just completed a BA in Fine Art & History of Art at NCAD. Her work predominantly explores themes of Presence and Absence.

Joann O'Meara

Joann is a painter from Dublin and currently residing in Seattle, Washington. Since graduating in June of 2013 she has experienced much success and continues to further her career as an internationally recognized artist.

Myriam Kavanagh

Dublin-born Myriam trained originally at NCAD and has since worked to develop her own style, also studying the Florentine 'old masters' methods. This has created a unique and dynamic style, with its origins founded on classical principles.

Cora O’Brien
Cora is a Dublin-based artist and a graduate of NCAD and DIT. Cora has had many solo exhibitions and has also participated in group shows. Her work is in private collections in Ireland and abroad as well as included in the collections of Aer Lingus, The Law Society, Tallaght Hospital and others.]
