Sol Art Gallery - on the move ..!!

The Sol Art Gallery is embarking on a new and exciting chapter, and is moving in February 2018 from Dawson Street to the landmark old Irish Times Building on D’Olier Street, just metres from O’Connell Bridge in the centre of Dublin.

It looks like it could be a really interesting move, with a fabulous purpose built gallery space and a location that has the hallmarks of what could be the emergence of a new fashion & culture quarter.

I have to ‘take my hat off’ to Martin Davis and his son Jay in the Sol Gallery for continuously looking for new opportunities. They are quite seasoned at this given they have been at the forefront of promoting and representing emerging and mid-career artists to the Irish, UK and international markets (including shows in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and Chicago) for a number of years now.

The new premises is expected to open in early - mid February at Unit 3, The Times Building, D’Olier Street, Dublin 2. Here are a couple of sneak preview shots of the new space.

I wish the Sol Art Gallery and all the team there, the very best of luck with the move to their new premises.
